Ian Todd


Ian is a very highly respected, experienced and influential executive in the sports marketing industry. After competing at Olympic level as a skier, he qualified as a solicitor before joining IMG where he spent 27 years. 

For the majority of his time at IMG he was one of the 3 senior executives reporting to Mark McCormack – this was the period during which IMG experienced the most significant growth in its history.

He then joined Nike and retained ultimate responsibility for all sports marketing activity for one of the iconic and most influential brands in the sector.

During his time at IMG Ian gained experience of and ultimately directed IMG’s activities in every discipline of sports marketing in the EMEA region. He developed enduring relationships with almost all major federations and governing bodies in sport as well as many of the leading participants (both teams and individuals).

At Nike his contacts and influence have extended both generally and particularly in football and he has led the relationships which Nike enjoys with key federations, teams and individuals.

Ian is a founding partner of ISG and is President of ISG.
