Atlético de Madrid and CenterplateISG present Neptuno Atlético de Madrid Premium to Madrid businesses, the new Hospitality area for the new Atlético de Madrid stadium

On 4th October, CenterplateISG and Atlético de Madrid were delighted to officially launch to Madrid’s business community Neptuno Atlético de Madrid Premium (Neptuno), the new Hospitality area for the club’s new stadium which opens in August 2017. 

CenterplateISG were represented by ISG CEO Andrew Hampel, ISG COO Richard Cheesman and COO of Centerplate UK, Adrian Dishington, while the Atlético de Madrid representatives included Club President Enrique Cerezo, Club CEO Miguel Angél Gil and first team player Juanfran Torres.

The event was held in the Neptuno Lounge in Madrid’s Westin Palace Hotel, which has views of the plaza de Cánovas del Castillo, the traditional place of celebration for Atlético de Madrid´s supporters after a significant success and after which Neptuno has been named. The evening was hosted by prominent television presenter Gonzalo Miró and music was provided by internationally renowned DJ, Carlos Jean.

The event was opened and Neptuno was introduced by Club President Enrique Cerezo: “For everyone at Atlético de Madrid this launch is a reason to celebrate. As a result, we wanted to do it amongst friends, in an iconic location linked to our team’s greatest triumphs.” He went on to emphasise how the new stadium’s Hospitality products will embody the core Atlético de Madrid values and how CenterplateISG is best placed to deliver the customer experience that Atlético’s supporters deserve: “CenterplateISG and Atlético de Madrid have worked closely together in order to create the most luxurious VIP product for their supporters who want to be able to offer the best to their clients” [sic].

Following Enrique Cerezo was senior Neptuno Sales Executive Ana Molina, who presented the different Hospitality spaces available in the new stadium and their unique characteristics. Two key attributes of all offerings is that all seats have both access to an exclusive lounge space and seats situated within the stadium bowl so that every Neptuno member is able to savour the unique Atlético stadium atmosphere.

Then it was the turn of Juanfran Torres to discuss the excitement amongst the members of the first team squad regarding the move to the new stadium, all of whom recognise that a new stadium is essential to ensure the team continues to compete at the highest level.

Finally, Carlos Jean provided a testament to his experience as a Neptuno customer, before he then turned his attention to providing the evening’s music and guests were able to take advantage of the food and drink provided and have a small taste what Atletico de Madrid will be able to offer to their Hospitality members in the very near future.

Andrew Hampel on behalf of CenterplateISG summarised what Neptuno will be offer to its members: “Neptuno will allow companies in Madrid to grow their business with existing customers, develop new customers and increase their revenues. Research has proved that VIP Hospitality at football is the most effective way to achieve this and we have created products to deliver this to all our members”
